On August 6th 2010 Lora Lue Chiorah-Dye suffered a ruptured aneurysm in the brain. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, underwent surgery, and is currently in intensive care unit. This is a very difficult time for our family. Lora’s hospitalization came as a total surprise since she took her dancing and health very seriously.
We would like to thank everyone for their prayers, gifts and support. But, at this time our family feels that it is appropriate to keep all visitation to a minimal and are only allowing immediate family and friends to visit the hospital. As she continues to heal and rehabilitate we will do our best to keep everyone informed of her condition and when it is an appropriate time to visit. Also, we have set up this blog for people to leave comments and will do our best to have her view as many as possible.
Again, thank you all for your love, prayers and support. Lora is the heart and soul of Shona music throughout the northwest and we now see just how much she is truly loved around the world. We are all looking forward to seeing her beautiful smile and graceful voice returning to the stage.
